My name is Pippa Robertson and I am the founder of a new little venture called Dublin Wildflower. Dublin Wildflower was born in early 2022 from my home in Walkinstown, where I live with my partner and 3 kids. I have received so much support from my community in Walkinstown. We moved here 3 years ago and living here really is a joy, There is a true sense of community, and I am so happy and proud to be part of it.

Dublin Wildflower was always meant to be, I knew that one day I would bring it to life, I was just waiting until the stars aligned (and my kids gave me a moment of peace). I have always been a ‘maker’ and like to keep my hands busy with something, whether it be crocheting, pottery, writing, cooking… but dried flowers have always been a passion of mine. I have always found them mesmerizing. Aside from their beauty and elegance, the sustainability of dried flowers is very important to me. Having attended so many celebrations where the waste is abundant, it has always been clear to me that there are other, healthier ways of incorporating flowers into these important days of our lives. If we can celebrate all the big miles stones in our lives in a more responsible and aware manner, teaching our children that we must care for our planet, and that we can do so while still adorning ourselves and those we love in beautiful flowers at our weddings, communions, and all celebrations, then we should strive to do it. Not only that, but these dried pieces will last a lifetime and can be loved, appreciated, and reused and I suppose the most important detail of all, they are so beautiful, and despite being dried, they are so vibrant and fragrant.

Each crown I make is a bespoke piece. I carry out a consultation with each client and from there we decide colour schemes and look. I have a wide array of flowers and foliage to choose from. I forage for local plants, which I use in my compositions as well, as grow, dry, and preserve wildflowers. Recently I have also found several incredible Irish flower growers who have supplied me the most beautiful flowers for my crowns. I am so excited to share Dublin Wildflower with you and look forward to hearing from you soon to discuss all your flower crown needs!
